Recently had an inspection on the house next door. Inspector tagged the house for a couple of small items. One was the protective labeling piece inside of the pool timer box. Intermatic sent out a replacement and we got it in four days! Thank you for the little things that matter.

A Good Replacement

These covers or "insulators" replaced two originals that dried out and crumbled after years in our dry desert heat. I was glad Intermatic had replacements available and these seem to be made of a more durable material. I had to cut them for an exact fit but that was easy. I believe without replacing them the panel would not have passed an electrical code inspection.

This product saved my life. Seriously. I got tired of getting popped by my pool pump timer. So I said "Johnny?... why don't you do something about that.. put down your beer and contact Intermatic!" So I did. I was shocked about how fast the insulator was shipped, but I wasn't shocked after that!

Okay, but not exactly

Although this replacement fits in the box and will serve its purpose, the punched holes for afixing it to the switch assembly do not match my unit. Therefore I had to just jam it into place, which convers the wire connections and allows me to operate the manual swith whithout danger of contacting the terminals. It can still be knocked out easily.
I think I could have accomplished the same thing with a piece of flexible plastic.

Part is just what you need if you have this time clock and the part is missing. Without this part you are taking your life in your hands each time you use the manual switch in the time clock. Without this part there are live terminals right behind the switch lever!

The plastic shield was an exact replacement. In AZ all plastic is detroed by the sun and heat and this new shield now protects your fingers from severe shocks.
